

Radio, T.V. and Rock 'n Roll! First stop is for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Guests will have their choice on arrival of either The Hard Rock Cafe's Grilled Burger or Cheeseburger with French Fries; a Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich with fries; or the Hard Rock's Caesar Salad. On to the exciting new Museum of Radio and Television where you can discover the history of this exciting media which all of us have known. Can you imagine the 20th century without radio or television? Many exciting exhibits and programs from which to choose. You can hear the voice of Franklin D. Roosevelt leading America out of the Great Depression, witness key moments in the civil rights movement, and watch the changing face of communication throughout the world. Whether you spend your time attending a screening in the John H. Mitchell Theater, or selecting your own program from the collection of over 75,000 radio and T.V. programs to view or listen to an individual console - you're sure to find something to keep you entertained. When we first arrive at the museum, we'll stop off at the Danny Thomas Library where you'll receive information about the Museum. From there, you can visit the Pattiz Museum Shop featuring a variety of books, tapes and memorabilia; the Ahmanson Radio Listening Room; the Ralph Guild Radio Studio; or one of the several galleries exhibiting art and artifacts relating to television and radio. On the second Floor, you'll encounter the Stanley E. Hubbard Library, the Console Center where you can watch and listen to your favorite selection, or take a peek at the Gerber Gallery. The Screening Room and Mitchell Theater offer ongoing entertainment. The day's schedule will be available the day of the tour at the museum. It's a funnew tour you won't want to miss out on! Youth 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Limited space available.
