A single track trail that begins just off the Wilderness Loop Trail in the central section of the wilderness area. The trail proceeds up steep terrain in a northerly direction through coastal sage scrub dominated by cactus patches. The trail provides a challenging climb but the trail user is rewarded with excellent views of Santiago Oaks Regional Park and the surrounding hills.
